In Outkast The Whole World, the duo shows the whole world the definition of creativity A spectacular song with excellent beats and vocals, The Whole World by Outkast is just what you can expect coming from their greatest hits album, Big Boi and Andre PresentsOutkast.
The song features an appearance from Killer Mike and together, they speak on the crime-ridden world that we live in today (the song was actually inspired by the September 11th attacks). The singsong chorus complemented by solid lyrics makes for an alluring sound that even the most laid-back individual cant help but bob their head to.
The Whole World video is just another example of creativity at its best. It takes place on the set of a circus and is filled with lots of exciting props and special effects. The costumes that Dre, Big Boi and everyone else wear all come together to make a nicely crafted video.
Outkast The Whole World Favorite Lines:I don't even play the radio neitherOnly if I need to know the sports or the weatherI'm a cool type of brother but yep, your head I'll sever I like this line because it shows Dres disappointment in a failing world filled with crime. Hes basically saying, Whats the point of even listeneing to the news anymore. The only thing that will be on there are reports of murders, drug busts, etc.
Turn on the TV and everything is lookin dismalWent in the bathroom medicine cabinet Pepto-Bismal I liked this line for two reasons. First, I thought it was a pretty good summary of the whole song; basically saying everything thats on the news now is sickening. Secondly ( and this is just a personal thing for me) I liked how I could almost visualize Big Boi watching the news, then literally getting sick from all of the nonsense of the world. Then going to t the bathroom and getting some Pepto-Bismal, some old-school medicine that I hadnt heard about for a very long time.
Wait, back to the enemy of the stateis the Republicans or Democratic candidateDebate, now even the black box hold the fateClueless like Shaggy and Scooby befo' commercial break I thought this line was actually kinda amusing. I actually didnt even catch it the first time I heard the song so it was even funnier once I did hear it. I can picture Shaggy and Scooby looking clueless and saying, Jeepers, what will we do now? or something like that right before a commercial. So I thought it was funny for Big Boi to say thats how politics make him feel.
