This is the album where Outkast was really recognized internationally for their greatness. The album reached diamond status (10mil albums sold), an accomplishment only a few other hip-hop albums have ever done. The album was a double CD full of hit singles and everything from soulfully written songs from Andre 3000 to upbeat songs from Big Boi. Big Boi and Dre went all out on this album and put their heart and soul into crafting it. A perfect depiction of the ying and yang. It just seems like Andre lives in another world sometimes with the things he writes about. In this song Andre is actually cupid and sends an excellent message about how people no longer believe in love but put extra emphasis on the materialistic things.Flip Flop RockI enjoyed this collaboration very much. Two legendary artists on one track, no loosing there. The song features Big Boi, Jay-z, and Killer Mike all on one track just rapping, doing what they do best.A Life in the Day of Benjamin AndreNow when I heard this song I was almost blown away. First off, the entire song was a freestyle which was hard enough as it is. Secondly, the twists and metaphors in his lyrics and entire flow are just on another level.Andre literally goes through his entire life, some of the things that motivated and impacted him most in his life and the reasons for him turning his life around all in five minutes.
